Membership Application

Applying for membership of the Australian Aviation Museums Network is easy. Complete the online application below and select the membership category that best fits your organisation or individual involvement in Australia’s aviation heritage.

Applications are reviewed regularly by the AMNN Board. If additional information is required to confirm eligibility, we will contact you as part of the review process.

If you are unsure which membership category applies to you, please refer to the Membership Categories page or contact the AMNN Secretary for assistance.

What happens next

Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the AMNN Board. You will be contacted if any additional information is required, and advised of the outcome once a decision has been made.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are set by the AMNN Board and apply across all membership categories.

Joining fee: $250 (one-off, payable upon acceptance)
Annual membership fee: $250 per year
Associate Member annual fee: $75 per year

Payment details will be provided once your membership application has been approved.

Membership Category

Museum Member – organisation (NFP museum)
Institutional Member – organisation (public / institutional)
Affiliate Member – organisation (other aligned organisations)
Individual Member – individual representing a museum
Associate Member – individual supporter / other

Important Membership Information

Membership categories have different rights and eligibility requirements under the AMNN Constitution. Some categories do not have voting rights and cannot nominate for Board positions.

Professional Association Membership History

Some AMNN membership categories require confirmation that the applicant has not been refused membership of relevant professional associations.

All other membership categories: $250 joining fee (one-off upon acceptance) and $250 per year.

Associate Membership: $75 per year

ICOM Code of Ethics

I/we agree to abide by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) Code of Ethics as a condition of AMNN membership.

This is a requirement of membership under the AMNN Constitution
